      question about flashget

      hi,

      does anyone have this problem with flashget where you click on a link to download (in ie or myie) and it doesnt launch flashget? i mean some links do launch and some don't; now when i right click in myie to download via flashget, it doesnt do anything; anyone know how to fix that?

      also, how do you setup your mail so that any hyperlinks will launch myie instead of ie? i tried doing it in window explorer via folder options, but i must have missed something;

      thanks.

      Try this: Tools-->option-->monitor-->internet Explorer select method 2

      thanks; it's already set to that before tho; but i did read that by resetting it in flashget, it'd fix the problem, and that worked.

      I have had similar problems and resetting to "Method 2" helped but it still doesn't work on all D/L's.

      It's still the best D/L manager I've found tho' and copying the link into Flash isn't the most time consuming job out there

      FlashGet is a D/L manager similar to GoZilla etc.

      IMHO, it is the best one out there. More info about it on:

      'Flash' itself is a macromedia product used for multimedia web content and stand alone applications... very good for animation
      You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today.They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine.'
      So that was nice.
