    1. Arrow Virus

      Hello,

I have a friend that told me that he thinks he has a virus in his computer. He doesn't know the name of it or is he much help in giving me good information about it.

But still, I want to help him out. The first thing I'm looking to find is a good program that removes all kinds of viruses in DOS. I think DOS would be the best bet.

Most of the tools that I'm finding will remove one virus or the other, but not many at one time.

Can you please help me out?

      Thanks.

    2. Thanks joripe for the reply, but when I viewed the web site. I didn't see where the program would crean via DOS.

My thinking is that I will need to clean his virus/s via DOS because of memory resident viruses. These viruses will reside in the memory location of the computer and damage the installing program.

Will this work or is there another program that I should look into?

      Thanks.

When you run norton av from the bootable cd, the proggy will examine al sorts of viruses (mbr etc).
Most downloadable versions of NAV create such a bootable cd.
