dual athlon xp mb
Does anyone have a dual athlon xp motherboard, that they like? Or one that they would recomend? Looking to build a new tower.

If you wanna build a dual AthlonXP system ... there are only 2 boards available now. Both from the same manufacturer ... Tyan. One is the TigerMP ... another is the ThunderMP. The latter one is a full version while the first one is a slimmed down version ... no SCSI, LAN, and some other stuffs.Originally posted by patch

The newer MPX chipset will not allow you to run AthlonXP in MP mode.
Also remember that if you're installing more than 2 memory modules, you can only use ECC+Registered DDR RAM, if not the system just won't POST.
