I'm stumped. I've been looking around at a lot of new burners. I currently have a Plextor 16/10/40a in my machine and I want another burner to put in the new machine I'm building. I've came to the conclusion I want something which can write at 24speed or faster.
I've been looking at the Lite on, sanyo and plextor drives.
What make do I buy?
What speed do I buy?
So..... any suggestions.
Cheers
Baz

RoadWorker...is that 32x write ?!!!!!! When will they realise there is a limitation as to how quick a CD can be burned. If a straight audio CD copy...do they seriously think this'll be burned at 32x...how many CDreaders can extract audio at that speed?
They create burners with Burnproof or respective mechanism so they can sa 'can sefely burn at 32x without creating a coaster', but you'll be lucky if it even burns at half of that (unless you've got top spec SCSI HDDs and the like).
