      thankx for that info

when you figure it out let me know
been trying to burn text--no good..that is how i came across the nero program

i think the text we think of and the text they will write are 2 different things...we think of text as track titles...it thinks of text as in karaoke the text in with the songs

mine will do the cd+g and that is for the karaoke discs

i searched for a while and came up with very little
that is just my guess--not on any real facts that i ran across

Clone CD Report says the 9510 will not write CD-Text (have the same)

that surprises me mine 9300i with clone cd says it supports cd text but the disclaimer also says this info may not be accurate

all i know is that i can't get it to write cd text no matter what i try
so the only assumption left is that it can't

mine says supports cd text nothing about writing cd text
my understanding is that the CD+G is text writing but not sure if this is correct

i gave up as long as it burns them without making coasters i am happy--may upgrade before long to 32x or 40x depends on how things go with the reports--the lite on looks like the way to go
one of my inlaws have a 4x burner--they may get mine when i upgrade--they are fairly cheap any more
