      I heared that the toshiba are the best one's !!

      I also read on the forum that the last LG one's do it to ??


      some other drives ??

      the 165 is still NOT available in germany.. you have to wait for some weeks... it is not a mistake to wait

      i thnik thats what i'm going to do !!

      thank you for the advice with the hacked firmware !!
      do you know if you can enable dma mode on these DVD's ??
      with my pioneer it does'nt work so i'm a little sceptic !!

      by the way are they silent ?? my pioneer is slot-in and sounds like a storm

      Is there any site that has comparisons/reviews of Recorders, CDROM and DVD drives?

      If not LTD-163 ou 165, which other DVD reader would you buy? Sony, Pioneer, Asus, Toshiba?

      Can I ask just one more thing? What is the optimal way of connecting one har drive, a reader and a writer? I mean, should I use one IDE cable to connect reader+HD and other just for the writer? Or is there any other best solution? Should I use 40 pin cable or 80?

      Hi bud!I would check everywhere for the Liteon first.The next best would be the Toshiba 1502 for Clone cd.It is slow at ripping dvd's and DAE however.It excellent for a Clone cd reader.

      Nevertheless, my first concerne is not clone cd (as I can use my plex writer), so I would like to know wich DVD reader is the best for DAE anda DATA. I Just can't finde LITE-ON, so I would like some advice: Toshiba, Pioneer, Samsung, Panasonic.... Which one you think is the best?

      Well my next choice would have to be a Pioneer.The Liteon really does blow the rest away.Have you tried to order online from somewhere?
