Unhappy Brand new pioneer 107 not burning properly, please help.

I just installed my new pioneer 107 and tested it out with a couple blank cd's. I tried burning some mp3's onto the disc and everything worked fine until the end during the lead-out and an error message appeared; "Invalid field in parameter, Burn process failed..."

this occured both times i tried and the computer fails to recognize the disc in the drive afterwards. It does however play fine in a cd player.

The program I'm using is nero and I've never encountered this before with any of my cd burners.

any help would be appreciated!

Hmm...might need a firmware upgrade.Could be a media problem too,or Nero needs updating.

That said..the cdr burning of the Pioneers are only average.I had an A05,and didn't like to use it for cdr. Most of us have a dedicated cdwriter to save wear and tear on our dvd burners too.

Maybe someone else can give you some more ideas.
