NEC ND-2500A and RitekG03 Media ?

Hello Folks,

I presently have a Lite On SHOW 812S USOJ and not overly satisfied with its DVD-R writing performance with RitekG03 media. I have about 150 RitekG03 and I need to use them up before I purchase and more DVD media.

I have noticed that NewEgg have the NEC ND-2500A for around 75.00 bucks and am considering purchasing one.

My question is how does the NEC ND-2500A compare to the Lite On SHOW 812S USOJ in writing DVD-R media in general and specially RitekG03 media.

Regards,
Coaster

I feel the NEC writes better and has a wider choice of media support. Having said this I just checked over @NEC homepage on media support and RitekG03 is not listed mind you this list is dated Dec 2003. So maybe a firmware updated could fix this issues for you...
