Ltr-48246S Update Error, Please Help Me

When I update the firm of my liteon ltr-48246S I can see this error:

Error....
No mathed drive detected!
This utility is only for LITE-ON LTR-48246S drive.

Detected drives:
1-0 HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8161B
1-1 LITE-ON-LTR-48246S


Firm Version, Last SS0E
I have a fujitsu siemens scaleo 600 with:

Amd XP 2600+
512ram ddr333mhz
Windows XP Home SP1
Nvidia Nforce 2

Please help me, I need update my drive beacause don´t burn well.

hi & welcome
plz list the burning tools u use
1) if u use nero& tools,use the info tool 2 provide us with the log ,omitting ur serial no
2) have imapi disable (check in services)
3) if ez cd cremator present then kill it

When you upgrade the firmware, please check:
1. The burner must be a master drive, preferrably with no drive as slave (yours is slave with a DVD burner as master).
2. DMA MUST be disabled, and PIO4 being used as transfer mode, the drive tray MUST be empty, and your firewall and antivirus shut down.
