      90min CDR

I have just done my first good DVD/SVCD conversion, the end file size is just over 1900mb, i have purchased some 90min CDr`s, my questions are before i split the file, how much of this SVCD file can i fit onto one 90 min CDr.

I have a liteon 241048 writer, and i will be using Nero to make the final SVCD, how do i enable Nero to take 90min CDr`s, are 90min the max size for CDr`s as i am sure that i have read somewhere that 99min CDR are available but i cannot find any anywhere, does any one know where 99min CDR`s can be purchased from in the UK if they are available, and will my writer write to the maximum size on them.

      Thanks...

Hi bud..Your writer will write to 99 mins.,If you can find them.I think Nero will recognize 99 mins.but not sure. You might have to change that on the expert settings tab.Maybe somebody can help you further.

      hi mate - if you're in UK . . . check out the british computer fairs . . .
£16 for a spindle of 25, 99 mins is a little over priced

better still if you're in London - (british) computer fairs down tottenham court road, every saturday - you can get them cheaper £12 for 25 Spindle Infinity 99mins.

      Thanks for your replys guys.

I have used the 90min CDR`s using Nero and my writer which is a liteon 241048 with no problems, i actually got 93min 17sec /
(935mb) on one of these 90min CD`s, i have checked and my writer should be able to write to 99.05min.

      Shadey,

I have been looking allover for some 99min CDR`s to no avail, i have checked all our local Computer Fairs, no luck, problem is i live out in the sticks in a little village, i dont get down to the smoke, how much do you pay for your disks?, one thing that we do have now though is Cable internet 512kb whoooooosh, mint.
