      Question Liton 32/12/40 Recording Speeds...

Does anybody know the supported writing speeds for this drive ?
It doesn't seem to write below 8X speed.

Hi bud. The drive is "locked",meaning you can't choose a lower writing speed than 8X.Hope that helps.

Caspers is correct Cdrwin will let you choose 1X.Some of the newer drives are locked at a certain minimum write speed by the manufacturer. This Liteon is one of them. You can't override it with software.
