Do not know much about this, but read that the Liteon 24x is the same hardware as the 32x and that it is possable to use the 32x firmware and make the 24x into a 32x. Anyone else know anything about this? Has anyone tried it? I will be honest, I am afraid to try it, and was hopeing someone could shed a bit of light on this before I try it.
Hi bud!It worked for the 8X to make it a 12X.Don't bother with it bud.Let somebody else be the guinea pig first.Somebody will try it eventually.If it doesn't work your writer could be toast !I don't think Liteon would make it that easy for anyone.I think they learned a lesson from the 8X to 12X upgrade.
