Question Pacific Digital CD burners who makes 'em

Anybody know who makes Pacific Digital burners and are they any good? The firmware upgrade for the 24x10x40 is LTR-24102 isn't that a Lite-On number?

Ok this is what NTI CD maker tells me about it.
      Vender ID: MITSUMI
      Product ID: CR-48X9TE
      Firmware Ver: 1.0C
      Cache: 2,048KB
      Does that help out any?

      Yep...It is a Mitsumi Burner,not a Liteon!

I will check to see if I can find more. They are pretty good burners, not as good as the Liteon for protections.SD2 needs Betablocker or AWS of Clone cd for SD2.

This why I don't like rebdagers. You don't know what you are going to get!!

It happens a lot Roadworker! He probably did get the Liteon. This happens all the time with rebadged writers.Everybody needs to be careful with them.

That is why I asked for more information.

Ok here's what the flash utility says.
This supports only LTR-2410B firmware: 5S01-5s0Z.
The utility program says LiteON Flash utility.
      Hows that for confusing?

Thanks guys you've been a great help I really learned alot here!
