      Question plextor 24/10/40a light on

      my plextor when putting in a cdr to get it ready to do a back up the light stays on ,even if i did not do the back up it also sound like the burner is running for a long time any help please is this the way my plextor 24/10/40a should run thank you p.s. udated to 1.02
