      dvd burners

      OK i have the pioneer dvr a03.
      how do you copy the dvd disc that hold more than 4.7 gig what is the trick or do i have the wrong burner. Any help on this matter would be great as i can still return the drive and mybe upgrade it to one that will work

      Ok cool thanks for the info just one more thing if i may.

      So all you have to do is just pick the right vob files from the disk to fit onto a 4.7 gig disk. What programs do you recommend and what other burner would you suggest.
      I did try a movie called fair game which was only 4.2 gig just a straight copy through nero but it wouldn't play. the play menu only half came up and then just a black screen. When it first started it sounded all sctrachy.

      is the dvd-r stable, is it industry standard the way it is now.

      or should i wait to buy a dvd-r?
