      Plextor 24/10/40A firmware upgrade v.1.03

i've seen this post (Plextor 24/10/40A firmware upgrade to v.1.03) at the home page of cdrsoft.cc but i couldn't find this upgrade at the official plextor site. the link for the download points inside the w*w.plextor.be but i am still concerned whether
this patch is valid or not.

      any comments?

Gettygas,I would recommend getting firmware 1.02 for the Plex.It makes game backups much easier(faster).Version 1.03 is out,but I'm waiting for more info on it.I'm sure it's fine though.

Remember to disable DMA before flashing. After a successful update, and reboot, enable DMA again.

What could happen if DMA is enabled while flashing ?
Because i've flashed my drive without disabling DMA.
Should I disable it in the bios too ?
      Thanx for your help.

Plextor advises to turn off DMA.I disable it in the bios.I have heard of people forgetting to turn it off,and having a successful upgrade. If it worked, don't sweat it.Just disable it next time.
