      Strange ClonCD problem...

Hi. I have a problem with CloneCd that is weird. When I boot my system I get a message from CCD ElbyCheck that i have two corrupt drivers in my registry..drvmcdb.sys and sscdbhk5.sys. I was recomended to delete the entries..if not my cdrom,s was supposed to malfunction. I followed the recomendation and the result was the opposite. I had to use the Win XP built in sytem reset to get around this ****. Then I found out that the drivers are used by Veritas DLA and not corrupt at all. NE1 else had this problem? However itīs worth a warning for this ElbyCheck feature.

Hi. I got a replay from Olli at CloneClinic and he admit there is probably a bug in the ElbyCheck feature.

There are in fact some problems with CCD and DLA. If I load CCD and have a DLA formatted CDRW in my drive then I get the "Blue Screen" and XP re-boot. I noticed this when I tried to use CCD and erase an old CDRW.
