Anyone else had this Nero Problem??

I have got a copy of Nero and a serial / keygen for it. The problem I have is that more often than not Nero burns fresh air. It goes through the process of burning, when looking at the cd physically you can see that something has been burnt but when you insert the cd it shows the disc as being totally empty.

Other s/w works fine....clone for example, I have a brand new Liteon 24x10x40 and I dont think it is thats causing the probs. Does Nero have some sort of protection that detects serials or keygens.

      Any ideas would be appreciated.

      TIA

      I J

-is it finalizing the cd's by any chance?

-what speed are u burning at?

-for me personally...i don't make coasters anymore cuz i am on a slow 200MHz pc and the top speed of my Teac cdrw 4x4x32 ...i only use Nero for burning audio compilations and as long as i burn at 2x and leave DMA "turned off" i don't get coasters or scsi/ide errors

-also i burn to Fuji 700MB blanks or Verbatim blanks
