      nero 5.5.5.1 BSOD....

      yup....

      after have updated with 5.5.5.1.. i have burned 3 iso sessions...
      (all with different serials)
      and e resoult is that e autorun file on e cd.. is unreadable.
      it gives me a bsod after a number of wma player windows.. pop up..

      so i got a theory..
      what if e 5.5.5.1 ver. won`t accept e
      alternative cdfs.vxd driver!!

      ps.
      none of this happend before i upped e nero....

      some1 else have experienced any problems like this??

      Hi bud:A representative from Nero(Ahead)admits there are bugs in this release.It was released for XP.They are supposedly working on it.

      5518 and 5524 are supposed to work okay,but nothing is for sure,it seems!

      The only thing wich is for sure is that Nero from v5.5.x.x became Bugware! Use the old v5.0.2.4 or v5.0.4.8 if you want stability...

      Hi Dividezero,welcome to the forum!Great to see you here.I have to agree,I think 5048 is the best Nero version,so far.I don't know what Nero(Ahead) are doing.Maybe too much effort trying to blacklist serials instead?
