    1. Lightbulb outdated aspichk.exe causes failure

      Read this!

most of u are getting this by running aspichk.exe :

ASPICHK0582: 0xEB - ASPI is properly installed, but it is unable to initialize. It is uncertain what caused the failure (0x12FAC4).

this is because of an outdated aspichk.exe

get a new one on the adaptecs ftp (remember that its hidden!)

      ftp.adaptec.com/software_pc/aspi/aspichk.exe

      now it looks like this:

ASPICHK0582: ASPI is properly installed and is fully operational. A total of 3 host adapters have been detected.

      ADD ON!

aspichk.exe does not be in same directory with winaspi.dll & wnaspi32.dll!!!!!!!!!!!
