      Unhappy nero 5.5.5.1 - help

      when nero starts up it scans the ide chain and my computer hangs, can anyone help

      system:
      abit kt7a raid m/b
      2 x 20 gig h/d
      512 mb ram
      sony cdrw - slave Ide 1
      delta 52x cd rom - slave Ide 2

      thank you for your reply. Is it best to use a previous version, if so which version or shall I use different software. If so can you recommend a program for audio, cd copies (audio + data) and data.
