I am having so many problems with this

I need a lot of help

I Have audiogalaxy and I have over 200 songs downloaded but where do i go from there? Many people tell me to right click on the songs i want and then save them to a file but i can't and I need to make them mp3 waves or somethign like that but i have no idea how to do it. Also I have an mp3 player so how can i burn songs onto cd's? I have a cd burner on my computer but the program that came with it doesn't let me burn songs from the net it only lets me burn other cds.

Firstly, Can you please tell us a little about your Software and your Burner. Several burning Software actullay convert MP3 into a suitable format (CDA) when writing them into the Blank CD. Some needs that conversion before writing.

Let us know and we'll answer the rest based on your software.

Well Okay. I have a compaq computer that has a built in burner. When I normally burn other cds onto blank ones i use this program called CeQuadrat just burn. I downloaded my songs off of audiogalaxy and i have mp3 cd converter. I think that is for making the files waves but no one has answered any of my questions and this is the first place where i found someone to help me with these questions. All of these fancy words are confusing and the abriviations also. But thanks for writing me back!

With your setup you'll have no trouble copying your MP3 onto a Blank CD. Form memory your Compaq may have an LG burner. One suggestion though, get yourself a copy of Nero Burning Rom, which will allow you to copy your MP3's as well as Wave files directly onto a CD. Its just drag and drop. The program is very easy to navigate, even Blonds have no trouble working this software. There are plenty of other software around that will do that. The best way is to test and try them all and judge for yourself.

Thank you very much for your help. I will try this Nero Burning Rom thing and see. Could I get it at office max? I had mp3 burner and it was very easy but no one will reply to me.. I asked them if it is 16.99 for one cd or to download it and keep burning cds till we get an upgrade. I am not sure. I know I do not want to spend 16.99 on one cd when I can go and buy them sometimes cheaper. Well I guess I'll just ave to try and find out. Thanks again.

Hello pokopiko Thanks again for your comment. I have mp3 converter isn't that supposed to convert mp3's into waves? Well I guess not since I can't get it to work at all. Then after I convert them to waves I can just load them to just burn??? I wouldn't know how to do that but I will get the Winlame 1.7 and try it and pray! Thanks again!

I am having a lot of trouble now. I did the dbpoweramp and I only have one song that i could find to convert. So i did all the things it showed me how to do and i found that song and pushed convert and it said it was convrerted but I clicked on the song and it wouldn't wokr it just opened to a mp3 song again and i heard it off of my mp3 player. I am so frustrated. Geeze I just don't know what to do now. How can I get all my songs i have off of audio galaxy into one folder or my mp3 songs into a folder I can't move them or copy and paste so how can i creat a folder for them to go to? Thanks

First,my advice would be check all folders,find all mp3 click on new,make new folder and move all songs intoit(right click drag and drop).Since we can see you are new here you should look for something easy * automatic(not too many options)like click and byrn,feurio nero cdrwin(choice is your).With all this softwareyou can :just drag all songs(mp3)into proggy.It will automaticly convert them to wawe and burn them.Easy even for you(dont go for more complicated tasks like normalisation crossfade........)leave that for later(when you got 10-20 burns behind you,few coasters too-but dont worry about that it happens).Sinse you have trouble finding mp3s-you might check feurio first(there is a button to show all mp3s on the hard disk,just drag them right -new project window and volla,click burn(check help file also).Btw never buy software before you exactly know that is good and necessary for you(also for all this software-you can find it here ,just go for downloads section).If you decide for feurio go to homepage and download demo.Its the best solution(free unlimited by time and features-everything work like you paid for it).Also i will send a link for dividezero site(you can get all proggis there too)on your mail cose its not good to post public here(I dont want to make trouble to this forum-think about that too in future).Email me or post it here if you didnt get link and somebody will sent it again.Good luck......

Just a couple more questions.... I have found the songs as waves and it is taking up a lot of space. So I am getting the feurio thing and hope it works. My computer keeps asking me for a disk cleanup. I think I will just delete these files I have made and only keep about 20 bc I did 200. I just got excited haha and now I have no room to even download this feurio it said. Thanks

Dont delete mp3s(delete waves since they are 10 times bigger than just put them in feurio(he is small --3mg)which is 1 tenth of wave,and your done.Depends on your pc-speed,dont put on max since he got to convert them to wave and burn(2 tasks). GOOD LUCK-you gonna needit...........

Hello! I am off into the burning world thanks to you zver, pokopiko, and houman. I finally figured out how to work that dbpoweramp so it is working well. I am very excited about it. Yay! Hi Barbiedoll girl.I would suggest uninstalling any programs you aren't using.You really need some space on your hard drive.Mp3's take very little room as mentioned.Once you get enough wave files to create a cd, burn them to disc.Make sure it (your new disc)works, then delete the wave files as mentioned.

Hello Barbie,

I have just subscribed to this forum, and aint to sure about how to use them yet but here is what I use when ripping Mp3's from Wav's.

I use Musicmatch to rip the wav files into mp3's from any audio cd to my hard drive. It can also rip rip them as wav's too. But as one user said Wav's take up to much space on the drive, so convert them to mp3's asap, then delete the wav file.

When you want to burn them as Wav to play ... say on your hifi etc then use "mp3 to wav convertor", very simple to use - just right click on the track and choose convert to wav from the drop down menu.

Surely the best thing is to tell the lady to use NTI - a doddle to use - (available fron NB's site) and just drag and drop into the bottom box then press the red button to burn. All this seems to be muddying a clear pond.
