I have windows XP and I am having problems that are really pissing me off. The story goes like this.

I have an old 2x2x4 Hi-Val CD-RW that is old but does what exactly what I want except for in windows XP. I have nero Burning ROM V5.5.5.6 and I can test burn ok but when it gets ready to burn (for real)it gives me the error saying that:

1. Command Sequence error
2. Could not perform Fixation
3. Burn process failed at 2x(300KB/s)

Now what gives. I have tried Roxio with the XP update and Nero 5551 thru 5556 and still not a damn thing. My CD media is the best you can buy and I have tried just about every known possible tip thats given in this forum like disabling the CDRecording feature under XP and turned off the service itself. What else can I do. I need help.
I have even researched the microsoft technet for solutions as wellas checked the Hardware compatability list and it tells that My CD-RW is not compatable under XP but, I know that it is bull S$%t because it was incompatable under 2000 Pro. Oh, I performed an upgrade from XP, and even done a fresh install of XP itself.

If anyone can solve this they are a genus and I am just a plain dumb. Like I said earlier Please help Me and please give me a solution to this problem I am having.
