      Unhappy Problems with Nero in XP

      Having problems burning @ 12x with Nero 5554 or 5551 in XP. My system seems to freeze & then start agian constantly. I have a burnproof yet its taking to long. If i burn @ 8x i dont seem to get this problem yet never got the problem with win 98.....

      Hi bud..Welcome to the forum!Have you updated the aspi layer?the Xp aspi layer is not good for burning programs.Use the same aspi files that update Win 2K or use Forceaspi.You might want to disable the Xp burning software.Got to My Computer and Right click on your writer icon.Select properties>recording tab,and uncheck the boxes..That should help..
