Safedisc and Sims expansions

Hi!

I have been trying to backup the Sims expansion packs *livin' large and house parrty*.

I know that they use Safedisc protection, so I cant do a direct copy. I tried using blind read/write, but when I try to play the game, the system hangs.

If anyone has any good tutorials on how to make a successful copy, I would appreciate it very much!

Hi bud.Welcome to the forum!The two games you want to back up are Safedisc2,I think.Some writers can't write Sd2 properly.Check in the news and info section for writers and procedures at the top of the forum menu.I don't know what writer you have so I can't be more clear on this.

If you don't have an Sd2 capable burner,Betablocker is your best chance of a working backup,or a utility called Insekktors which will patch your image file.It then adds a driver which enables your backup to run.

Here are my recorders I am using:

Teac CD-R55S
Toshiba SD-R2002

It does not look like either are compatible.

Nope...Near Detroit.I like the falls are area though,very nice ..
