Installed the latest Nero a couple of days ago. Did a couple of Data CD backups and thought I'd verify. It failed on both disks. I checked the discs and found it had only written half of a few graphics files I had. The rest of the graphics files were ok. Have also just installed an Athlon 1400. Could this be part of the problem. Have never had any trouble with previous Nero versions. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

No, not using XP. I had read the other posts about Nero thinking there might be a clue in there but I didn't realize there had been so many problems with the 55_ versions. Ok, I'll give NTI a run. Thnx, Woody.
