How I got them all to work together in XP!

Installed Roxio Platinum 5/with updates and all is well. For anyone who is interested here is how I got them all working together.(WITHOUT ANY REGISTRY HACKS) I'm using Nero 5.564, CloneCD 3.231, Fireburner 2.12, FantomCD 1.17 and EasyCD Creator 5.1 Platinum(patched from 5.0)

READ EVERYTHING BEFORE STARTING!

After a clean install of XP (I'm using Pro, should work with Home edition), right-click on the CDRW drive, select properties and disable the built-in burning function of XP.
In Admin Tools go to "Services". Find the IMAPI CD burning service and DISABLE it.
This part is very important or you might lose your CD Drives in Explorer. Now install the apps in this order:
1: Nero and all plugins [also get the updated win32aspi.dll (ver 2.0.1.41) from Nero's site]
2: CloneCD
3: Fireburner (requires Nero's wnaspi32.dll file..I'm using ver 2.0.41 from Nero's site..just copy it to the FIREBURNER FOLDER NOT the Windows\System32 folder!
4: FantomCD (Virtual CD 4.02 and Virtual Drive 6.2 also work...DON"T USE Paragon CD Emulator..it has serious problems in XP)
5: At this point check to make sure everything still works and verify IMAPI is still disabled.
Install Roxio, using CUSTOM UNCHECK TakeTwo...REBOOT
Run XP_up_Platinum.exe filesize 1.917KB (they released 2 different patches with the same name The other is 2,529KB! DUH!) REBOOT
Run ECDC502c_up.exe REBOOT
Run XP-up_Platinum.exe again REBOOT

You'll notice the IMAPI service is enabled again (manual) but everything works on my system. I even swapped out an LG8080B CDRW with an LG 8160B CDRW. I did a successful burn of an SVCD using Nero with the LG8080B I later replaced that drive with the LG8160B and did a data CD (mode 1) with Easy CD. It took 2 reboots for DirectCD to recognize the new drive but I didn't have to do anything else.
Whether it matters or not I'm also running the Intel Application Accelerator (install this before any other app!) My hardware is as follows:
IBM PIII 866 Intel 815EP
384megs PC133
LG Burner (see above) Master
LG 8120B DVD Slave (sharing the secondary IDE port with the burner)

I haven't run any updates to Nero or CloneCD so I don't know what effect that will have once Roxio is in place so I wouldn't recommend it! Use the latest versions (which I think I'm using)and don't upgrade anything after Roxio is installed to be on the safe side.

I've built a new P4 system (just have to rearrange a bunch of stuff before I start it up) I'll post back here with the results (Plextor 16x burner and Pioneer 16x DVD)
