      Question dma in xp

      iha ve just installed xp and cannot find how to enable or disable the dma for my cd roms and my burner can you tell me where to look for it i also put ezcd5 on xp as well as clone 3.2.3.1 and when my machine booted up blue screen of death and couldnt get into my system. i had to format my drive and reinstall everything. i tried ezcd 5 again with clone same thing my burner is a acer 16x10 crap

      Yep, I think the same ..
      Easy CD Creator and WinOnCD > 3.7 are really buggy and not usable !
      Here in usually even ends in a bluescreen when I try to install this stuff ..
      Maybe it´s bcz I have a mixed SCSI and IDE system ..

      i have ez cd5.02 installed but seldom use it? mostly my daughter for mp3s. works fine for that..

      can you please tell me how to trim my system bios?
      And what busmaster drivers would you recommend my motherboard is a via KT133 MODEL NUMBER KT133BX with a via chipset with a AMD 800 athlon processor i am currently using
      4in1v4.36 drivers any help would be appreciated.
