Which game(s) are you trying to copy? What burner(s) have you got? Have you any other ordinary cd/dvd roms? What operating system?

Can anybody give some tips or suggestions for backing up games with bad sectors as the copy protection.I've used cdclone, alcohol and blindwrite. The closest I've come is from blindwrite but the game runs unstable.

Thanks for replying,
Game trying to copy is Vietcong, after looking further, found that copy protection for this game is securom 4.8. My burner is asus-4012A. On this machine have burner as well as DVD rom, operating system windows ME. Read your tutorial on securom 4.8, blindwrite method did not work, but used Alcohol method, installs without using .BWA method, but used .BWA disc (a third disc) to play the game. Thanks for your help.

dude, secuRom is NOT bad sector type protection, safedisc is the gay one. SecuROM is a protection by Sony DADC, it can be identified by viewing the inner layer of the disc, it will have a hologram saying DADC, which is a CD Plant owned by Sony, they put the protection via the Glass Matrix, it can be regenerated by Alcohol Soft. Choose the securom profile.
