Unhappy Clone Cd Error Message - HELP!!

10 days ago, I did download Clone Cd (v4) as I wanted to backup all my games. Using Fly method worked great(Optorite Burner) though I did lower Read/Write speed down.
Just this past weekend I purchased retail LG Multi-format DVD+/-,RW,Ram model GSA4040B. Price was reasonable. However using the same method "On the fly" tried to backup the same PC game, it failed and received the following error message
"illegal request-logical block address out of range(5:0x21:0x00)"
Can somebody please explain rather decipher this message.
Mind you it did copy burning image on HD and back to CDR. 6X failed and then lowered to 4x, it was successful.
Why "on the Fly method" and what error message means, don't know.
If someone has any idea what the error message means, will be great.

Lightbulb Cd Clone Error message - Help

I will try different media. Firmware is A300. In order to update, LG insits to have this drive master on secondary IDE channel and must be by itself. Mine is set slave on secondary channel.
      I am using XP Pro. and my settings are as follows;
Current Transfer Mode: Ultra DMA Mode 2
But did notice DVD region not selected, should it be ????
I just installed this LG4040b this past weekend. Didn't know new firmware already out.
Prior to installing this DVd Writer, on the fly did work just fine on my Optorite CDRW. While on the subject, am I better off using Alcohol120 rather than CD Clone. I do have fairly good collection PC games and especially Xbox. Just the other day my son was having problems with Xbox game due to scratches and so. I clean the surface and it's okay for now but I know this won't last too long. I need to be able backup all Xbox and PC games, store originals and use copies for everyday use. Just purchased "SWAT" for Xbox for Christmas for him.
Any input and or suggestions are most welcomed.
      Thanks,

incompatible media is the issue; what works for one drive may not work for another

Clone CD am using is 4.4.3.1, What version is more stable?? Some prefer 4.3.1.6?? Anyways I will try Alcohol.
Firmware for LG4040B is available however I will need to swap my drives around. LG must be master on secondary channel and only drive on this channel. This was quote on LG website. What a pain.
      Thanks for input.
