I have backed this game up using Blindwrite 4.0.3.31 but the disc just 'spins up'. I have backed up other games with Securom new protection with no problem, having been able to use the game as an original 'stand alone' copy without having to mount on virtual drives etc. However, I have used same settings with this game but it does not seem to work (BWA built successful for disc1, I got a message after attempting to BWA on disc2 advising not required). Does anyone have any ideas with this game/can it be backed up as 1:1? Cheers.

Conflict Desert Storm 2 goes way beyond Securom New. It uses Securom 4.84.84.0099 and success here without emulation is hardware dependent. The Plextor Premium is currently one of the few if not the only drive that can make a backup with BlindWrite without emulation.

1:1, no (though a plextor premium with blindwrite goes close).
