      Question Halo on PC

I'm trying to make a backup of Halo and from what I can tell it seems to have safedisc 2.7 protection. I tried to use Alcohol to burn it but it just errors on all the tracks. I have a Ricoh rw7200a CD-RW. Any ideas anyone?

Did you let the backup process continue to see if it would work or did you cancel when seeing the errors? Safedisk does show errors when making a backup.

Made a back up using Clone cd with my 3 year burner Drive : CREATIVE CD-RW RW1210E
      Type : CD-RW Recorder
      Firmware Version : LCS6
      Buffer Size : 2 MB

      Rebadged Lite-On?

If it is taking ages to read through the errors then you might want to try doing a fast dump.

Put the original in the drive, enable emulation, load the game, exit and then dump the image. It should read through the errors in seconds.

Thumbs up Halo - PC Version

I was able to backup above with Alcohol 120%. Ignore errors as indicated on help file. I think I setup for safedisc2, ignored all errors. Made several backup. Give this a try once more. I am using LG4040 DVD/CDR Writer.
      Good Luck
