      newbie with fantomCD and CloneCD??!!

First i want to send congratulations to everybody.
I would like to know how I can clone Battlefield 1942 and then to emulate by the fantom cd program.
The problem that is occurring is that the game works normal in the version 1.0, but after updating for the version 1.4 he doesn´t run with CDs emulated by fantom, needing me to place the original cd.
regarding MOD Desert Combat, the problem is the same
It has some solution for this game.
      I thank the all answers.

CloneCD has its own SD2 emulation you know?

When was the last time that fantom CD was updated? I would suggest using Alcohol instead.

According to http://fantomcd.copystar.com.tw/enu/ the last time it was updated was 2002.

As celtic said you would be much better off by using Alcohol 120% for backing up your games and using the virtual drives to emulate.
