i just try the cd and both of them work on my dvd player i burn them as dao/sao. but one thing is that in the lite on cdr burner it would not detect the cd i just finish burning for some reason i open it and nothing in there. on my hp dvd it said video cd and 600kb and that is what i normally see. so how come the lite on does not recognize the cd? i have aspi 4.71

Some drives require you to eject the media before they can read it properly. From the sounds of it you were looking straight after the burn.

Try putting the media back in and see if it is recognised ok now.
