Hexalock (or rather Autolock) is a relatively new type of protection made in Israel, and good only for data disks. It uses an encryption scheme stored in a specially stamped part of the CD, so it seems that a straight legal copy is not possible. But of course you can use an illegal patch at your risk.

Not really... they have stopped using it for audio disks, as the "CD's" made by it failed to play in more than 25% of the known standalone CD players. It even had problems applied on games- so it's currently used exclusively on data CD's.
maybe the next version will be better (knock on wood!), but the current one is not really suitable, EVEN for games.

Like that was going to stop us from using the obvious line in trick with the latest sound cards and high quality cables any audio protection is defeated by the simple technique that has been around for years !! lol

There will never be a SUCCESSFUL audio protection unless everything goes 100% digital but i doubt that ?! as good old fashioned valve based systems still outclass transistors for PURE SOUNDING audio

Just ask Any good Audio nut which they prefer

      hehe

Uhmmm... had an expensive valve amp for some 4 months (Unison Audio), and believe me, it's just a hype for ppl that have $$$ to spare on exotic stuff...
A high class transistor amp (fast zero feedback mosfet, prefereably biased on Class A) blows the socks off any valve amp... not to mention the extreme designs where transistors are set as Class A zero feedback single ended operators... (eg all Nelson Pass amplifiers). Of course they are terribly expensive, but still much cheaper than hi-end valve amplifiers, and sonuding ages better than them.

how can i make a patch like that

its an unknown application and i think there will be no patches (noCD patches ect..) in the web

There don't seem to be too many chances to use it from the backup without a patch...
