Playstation 2

A firend of mine has bought a Playstation 2 and I was wondering if anyone knows what is needed in order to make a copy of a game (hardware, software etc)?

Hi bud.Welcome to the forum!You would use the same hardware(writers)and software that is used for Playstation1.There are recent modchips for the PS2 that allow you to boot the games.Not sure on the procedure for copying Dvd-based games.

I am also interested in backing up PS2 games because my kids have the system here.The local paper has people that install the modchips.I will be checking into it more.

Well,seems I should have given you better info.My information was far from adequate.The best place for PS2 information is
w*w.megagames.com they have tutorials,utilities,etc.,in the PS2 section.hope that helps.
