Question V4 PS2 Mod Chip Help

I have a V4 PS2. Just got my brother to put in a Apple Pro. When i power up the the tv screeches and the ps2 goes to the browser and says no data. Any ideas. I'm assuming theres a bridge on the bios chip? This sound familiar to anyone? Gonna rip it open tomorrow to check it out. Ever hear of one doing this?

Hi Doug, did you manage to sort this ?

I'm no install expert, but I would advise you to re-check all solder points on the board
