backup ps2 using cdrwin

i am tryin 2 make a back up of my ps2 game & i am following this website

i extracted the image to my computer now i dont know how to patch it ?
where do i find "the patch pack" at ? im sooo lossttt
can anybody help or is there an easier way to make a backup copy ?

You can look at our tutorials for backing up PS2 games. Did you download the Paradox PPF O Matic thats on the site? I don't know what patching your trying to do but, here's a site that has patches for some games.

yes i have paradox PPF o matic, but i dont know what goes in the ppf file & i put the .bin file but other then that im lost & the game i am trying to burn is Grand theif auto lll if that helps lol

cdrwin is not the greatest tool to backup ps2 games its very old and dated ..although they keep updating it now and again for ps2 it will prolly suck as ever bigtime !

its fine for the odd ps1/psx game but ps2 is a whole lot different !

ok thanx 4 the link i am now using clone cd 4.2 & when i put the disc n the drive it wont read it any suggestions ?

are you trying to backup ps2 to dvdr or cdr !?

ps2 to dvdr backup is easier than ps2 to cdr backups

some questions ... you do have a DVD drive in your system to read ps2 games as they are 99% on dvdroms and not cdrs so will not read in any other device unless its a dvd something or other

you may want to follow the guides that have DVD DECRYPTOR in them as ive read lots of posts on this forum that DECRYPTOR is good for most ps2 games
