      HELP. Copying xbox games

      Hello guys!

      I have in my xbox:

      *xecuter 2.2 pro
      *latest xecuter bios
      *Evolutionx on the hd

I also have Flashfxp in my pc. I can send and receive files from xbox. However, when I copy a game from xbox dvd drive Evolutionx says that it will take 100-150 hours! If I want to copy DVD movie- 700 hours!!!

I am pretty sure that it is not suppose to be like this.

When I copy something from pc to xbox hd the speed is high (media player copied in 2 minutes (15 mb.)

Could anybody tell me what to do?

P.S I have internal network card in my pc (motherboard Abit KD7)

How exactly have you got things rigged up - i.e. are you using a dedicated network card for the xbox connection or are you running through a hub ?

go into the properties of the network card, check that link speed/duplex mode is set to 100 Full Mode, also check the receive buffer size sb at maximum size

The speed is set to 100 Full Mode. There are no "receive buffer size sb" setting.

I tried to copy one of vob (movie) files from xbox to pc and it says : "Remaining 294 hours"....

I tried ftp through internet explorer- nothing changed. I also tried different dashboards- no result.

Maybe I need a new lan card?

I tried another network card- the speed is the same.

Maybe I need a new cable or xbox?

FlashFXP > Options > Preferences... > Transfer (tab)

check the "obey download speed limit" and "obey upload speed limit" settings. uncheck the boxes if they are not already.

Thanks for all replies PSX_PAUL, but, after doing what you told me, nothing changed.

I am using the latest (3935) version of Evolutionx. And the problem is not only with Evox. I've tried Media X menu, Avalaunch, and Unleashx...
