      Unhappy NHL 2004 Patching

okay so i know when backing up this games u should copy the files to your hard drive and replace the dummy file. i have done all that and then i burn it with disc juggler but then the backups won't even load up at all.b4 the game would load and freeze when i went to actually play a game of hockey. i have made quite a few coasters but have followed the instructions from the other posts i have seen i dont know what is going wrong. i am using hp dvd400i with tdk dvd+r, i also use swapmagic dvd2. these have worked for all the other games i have tried but i cannot figure out this nhl2004 please help me what am i doing wrong?????

For me if I was backing up this game, I would use Alcohol 120%. Why you say. The game is protected with SD2. So I would make a copy and then use a No-CD/Fixed EXE. Which you can find that file at gamecopyworld.
The reason I like the no-cd exe is I don't need to find a disc to play.
Let me know if that helps.

presumably you set the FPRELOAD.VIV LBA setting correctly to 0003867, and copied in the files in the correct order ?
