Does Swap Magic work with dvd+r

i have a version 7 playstation and i just bought dvd burner didnt realize there was a difference between dvd+ and -r. I have dvd+r and everyone talks about -r, i also bought swap magic . Now i was wondering if i can still backup my games on dvd+r and play boot them using swap magic?

I am unaware about "Swap Magic".

I am also unaware of what brand of DVD burner that you have. Some manufactures have Book Type Bitsetting that allows you to change a DVD+R/W to a DVD-ROM, which will play on most devices.

What brand of DVD burner do you have?

Also most retailers have a liberal product return policy that allows customers to return purchases if not satisfied. Just something to think about.
