Hi, I have installed the magic 3 no swap and so far the cables seem to be connected right. But I still can't play my imported and backup games. When I start the ps2 it turns on great, it reads the original games good, but the animation of those balls floating in the background stop and I can't get the backups to play. When I put in a backup or imported game the ps2 just keeps on reading the disk. It doesn't even say "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 formated disk". What is wrong?
Check your BIOS points. is this a magic 3.1 chip?
