true crime ps2 NEED HELP

i try to make a backup for the true crime ps2 game but it wont work. why? does anyone have any ideas? its not my modchip, all my backup games for fine, i use fuji dvd -&+ media (not cheap). help me please! someone out there knows.

i had this same problem, but its an easy fix. go to swapmagicfix.com and get CDLoader Beta 5.1. burn the .bin file to a cd using nero or such and follow these steps during booting (assuming you have slide card or similar method):

boot swap magic cd version
swap it for CDloader(with flip/slide) and press x
once CDloader loads press x
select 5v3 no pn press x
PRESS eject on your ps2
swap for swap magic DVD version
once it is recognized in the bottom left hand corner press x
it will instruct you to swap with dvdr. use your flip top or slide card to swap the disc with the backup.
press x

the cue or the bin file?
i have the no solder mod chip for v7

With What Program Did U Copy True Crime?

i used nero to burn CDLoader. just open it, go to file, open, change the file type to "all files", and open the .cue file that you unzipped from the download. by selecting this it will burn the .bin file to cd. the .bin file is the cd image and the .cue file is just the method that the burner will use to write the disc. simple as that.

i use RecordNow MAX to take care of my ps2 backups. its a stable program and relatively easy to use, not to mention cheap. you can get it for a good price off of ebay or at your local software provider. psx_paul made a good tutorial for RecordNow MAX, http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=24834.

i have the same setup that you do, and everything works fine. just be to try the method for the CDLoader from my previous post. be sure to destroy any extra working backups should you have any once it works. only one is allowed here in the us.
