Question backing up ps2 games - which program and which dvds?!!

hey i'm new to backing up ps2 games... i just recently got an LG DVD writer (GSA-4040B) which does + and - dvds and dvd-ram. i've been searching around forums and various tutorials and i'm still unsure of which program does the best job - nero 6, dvd decryptor, alcohol 120%, recordnow max, or any others i don't know of??? and could someone also confirm with me what type of blank dvds you use (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw, or dvd-ram?).

and also, when backing up ps2 cd games... does the brand of cd-r matter? and which program is best to be doing that?

if someone could help me out thatd be great...

This question has been asked about a billion times. But Im in a good but tiresome mood.

Most people prefer RecordNow Max, and use DVD-R. Best medias would be Verbatim and Ritek G04. Stick to -R.
