      Laser replacement problems...

The past couple weeks I have noticed on going problems with my ps2 not reading almost all my discs, so I decided to put in a new laser. After putting in the new laser the system booted fine, but wont read any disc and if you load the browser you get the "no data" error message. Anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?

This forum is supposed to have toturials on laser replacement written by the person that replaced my laser professionally. http://www.ps2newz.net/

If you live in the US, send your PS2 to this guy http://www.newagepsx.com/ and he can fix it. This is where I had my laser replaced.

Replacing the laser was a bad move. You should have tried to adjust it. But what's done is done. You have to get the laser mounted on exactly the way it was before or else it'll only read certain kinds of media or none.
