Hi,
I got my ps2 modchip a while back, about two years ago. Ever since I got it and bought a cd burner I started to copy my games. I have always wanted to backup my ps2 dvd games but I didn't have a dvd burner. Well now I bought a dvd burner. But I am having some problems coping the ps2 dvd games. I have tried everything, I use dvd decrypter, Alcohol 120, but I still cant get the ps2 to read them. I manage to burn them on a DVD but when I put them into my ps2, they don't load. I have copied many PS1 and PS2 cd games and they work fine, so it can't be my mod-chip. Can some please help me?
I would appreciate it,

yes telling us which modchip you have will help. I'll take a guess out of the blue on what modchip you may have.... let's see.... you plug it in to your USB port, and it's blue. Is it a Neo Key or SBOX chip?
you're right, I do have a USB mod-chip. BUT I have two other ps2 burned games that are DVD and burned on a DVD-r.
Sorry to burst your bubble but your USB mod doesn't play DVD-r backups.Originally Posted by rcade
Well I have two games that are burned on a DVD, but they work just fine on my modchip. The games are Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Soul Calibur. How is it that they work.
what is the name of ur modchip?!? I think there is a misunderstanding here.
its an SBox.
I seriously doubt that, unless you also have a DVD chip attached. Check anywhere on the net, even the place you bought it from. The Sbox doesn't play DVD backups.
