if this is in the wrong place, i'm sorry.. I'm new and trying to learn. Here are my questions.

the dvd burner i have is.. nec 1100a it only writes in +r +rw. and everything i read says that ps2 game needs the -r/w can a ps2 read a +r/w ??

what kind of modchip is recommeded.

I recommend either a Messiah 2 Pro or a DMS3. But if you don't want to spend too much and just play basic backups then the Magic will do.

Hi you can burn ps2 on +r and -r on the new ones as well hope this will help you
