      Playstation 2 video/audio/eject problems

I don't know if this is the right place but could not see anywhere else where it might go.

I am having troubles with my PS2 system (model SCPH-350001). It worked fine one hour ago. I have several lasers for this model so I decided to test them... After I put the first laser inside, the system stopped working- it won't eject cd tray and there is no video on the screen. I put the old laser back but results are the same- the system won't work... Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

      I will appreciate all replies!

The only thing that I can suggest is to put the original laser back in, the one that was previously working, and recheck all other connections. Check extra carefully the connections around the tray mechanism and eject cable.

      Thanks fot the reply.

I did put original laser back- the result is the same- the tray won't eject and there is no audio/video on the screen.

I checked connections- they look fine to me. I found that one of the fuses is burned. And I suppose that the chip near that fuse is burned too... I can buy another chip (I have extra fuses) but what if it is not the only problem?
