can cd game move to dvd??

i got a version 9 ps2 with slide card version 2

i can only play dvd backups

so i want to if i can some how move the cd content to the dvd and burn it and play the game off dvd instead

i tried to use dvd to burn a cd image but alcohol 120% refuse to let me copy a cd game onto dvd

i also tried to extract a cd game to HD then burn it on to dvd but it wont work

In 99.9% of the cases this is not possible.

This is a very good question, one that I have asked myself before in the past. From what I understand, and the answers that I got back while investigating this, it can be done although nobody is entierly sure as to how

I was after using this to burn PGEN (megadrive/genesis emulator) onto a DVD-R rather than a CD-R.

I am still looking into this problem, and keep a close ee out for posts of this nature around other forums. As soon as I hear anything I will post something here
