I am using a pioneer dvr-s606 and alcohol 120% to back up my originals. I use swap magic in my ps2. For some reason my backups are very slow to load. they do boot but are nearly useless due to speed. I have been using memorex dvd-r's, and I wonder if it might be a media issue. Somebody please help.

I forgot to mention that my ps2 plays dvd movie backups fine with the memorex media. Would this make a difference? also is ritek (g04) compatible with my dvr s606?
